The North American Housing and HIV Research Summit IX: Structural Interventions and Ending the Epidemic

The North American Housing and HIV Research Summit IX provides a unique, interdisciplinary forum where researchers, persons living with HIV (PLWH), policy analysts, service providers, and conference participants from a wide array of backgrounds have an opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions surrounding new research findings that further define the ways housing and other social determinants affect PLWH and international conversations to end the HIV epidemic.  Since its inception, the Housing and HIV Research Summit series has served as the premier venue for informing HIV/AIDS housing policy and structural interventions; which creates the space necessary for theory and research to be discussed and translated into policies and action.

Registration

Early Bird Registration:  $375 (ends June 30, 2018)

Regular Registration:  $425 (starts July 1, 2018)

Consumer Scholarship Applications Accepted:  February 1, 2018 – May 30, 2018

Registration Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you need to cancel your conference registration, please e-mail Nicole Brazelton at nicole@collborative-solutions.net or 205-939-0411 x210 no later than July 15, 2018. No refund requests can be processed after that date.  

Personal Emergencies

In the event of an unanticipated personal emergency our conference staff, as well as the hotel staff, can assist you in locating resources. However, we are not able to provide assistance directly (such as medical assistance or financial assistance).

Consumer Scholarship Requests  

The National AIDS Housing Coalition will be providing a limited number of Summit Scholarships to HIV+ consumers of HIV housing and/or services who have a demonstrated interest in HIV/AIDS advocacy. Scholarships include registration, hotel and/or transportation. As scholarship funding is limited, we encourage applicants to seek support from local organizations and businesses to cover a portion of the costs of attending the Summit.

Applications are due by May 30, 2018 and all successful applicants will be notified by July 15, 2018.

Eligible scholarship recipients will:

• Provide a brief statement of interest
• Have a commitment to ending HIV/AIDS in their community.
• Be able to commit to attend the entire Summit.
