Topic: The Bridge to Hope & Healing®: Building Bridges Interactive Workshop

Building bridges are about creating connections, establishing relationships, and obtaining resources.This unique program actively engages participants in a supportive, open environment through storytelling and experiential learning. Individuals, caregivers, social workers and mental health professionals, crisis advocates, and peer support leaders receive the framework and techniques to guide them through a moment of crisis. Participants acquire and strengthen skills, knowledge, and abilities to build and support their bridge to hope and healing.

Learning Objectives: Participants will…

• Learn 9 Principles* to help you and your clients through a life-changing moment. 

• Understand how to incorporate hope and healing techniques into your own self-care and resilience. 

• Walk through confidential, personal, and client scenarios while focusing on the person-in-environment to enhance clinical effectiveness within diverse culture

Becky received a MSW degree with a concentration in planning and management and a BS degree in human development and family studies from The University of Alabama (UA). She is President and CEO of BSCorbett Consulting, a John Maxwell Team Certified Coach, Speaker, and Teacher, and serves as a career services consultant for the UA School of Social Work. Becky is fiercely dedicated to inspiring people to lead and helping individuals and organizations move ideas to action.
